Deli Style Corned Beef Sandwich

Deli Style Corned Beef Sandwich

I’ve been getting creative in the sandwich department for lunches this year. Rather than the traditional ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch, I have been trying out other types of deli meats. Like this deli style corned beef sandwich. Loaded with corned beef, dill pickles, Swiss cheese and Dijon mayo, this sandwich is loaded with flavour, and is sure to make your taste buds happy!

What you will need: Makes a single sandwich

  • 75 g of Corned Beef deli meat
  • 1 Portuguese bun (or bun of choice)
  • 2 slices of Swiss Cheese
  • 2 sandwich style dill pickles
  • 2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard

Cut bun in half, and broil under high heat until lightly toasted.

Mix together the Dijon mustard and mayo, and spread evenly over both sides of the bun. Place meat on the bottom portion of the bun and top with slices of Swiss cheese. Broil again until the cheese is melted.

Remove promptly and top with dill pickles and top of the bun.

Serve and enjoy!
