It’s so hard to believe that fall is already here! Halloween will be here before we know! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a super cute glow in the dark craft.
Glow In The Dark Craft – Halloween Mustache Mason Jar
Have a silly, spooky Halloween with this quick and easy craft! You’ll need:
- 1 Mason Jar (you choose the size)
- 2 Googly eyes
- Glow-In-The-Dark Spray Paint
- White or Cream Acrylic Paint
- Paint Brush
- Mustache
Time Required: 30 Minutes
Difficulty Level: Beginner
Remove the lid from the Mason jar. Paint the lid with the acrylic craft paint of your choice. Let the paint dry and then replace the lid.
In a well-ventilated area, spray the outside of the Mason jar with the Glow-In-The-Dark spray paint. I used Krylon Glowz. Follow the directions on the can for best results.
Glue the wiggly eyes into place once the paint is dry. I used hot glue, but you can also use any type of craft glue.
For the mustache, I used Jolee’s Boutique Mustache stickers. You can use any type of mustache stickers you want or cut out your own mustache from felt and glue it on.
Follow the directions on the spray paint can to “charge the paint” using light.
And there you have it! Easy peasy! One Glow-In-The-Dark Mustache Mason jar! Make a few and have a whole family of them! You can even wrap some lightly in cheese cloth for a Glow-In-The-Dark Mummy Mason Jar! Your kids will love seeing the jar light up!
