Summer is here and it’s time for relaxing by the pool, BBQ’s and hanging out with family and friends. There’s nothing more refreshing on a hot, summer afternoon/evening than a Minty Mojito! I have a delicious recipe for you to share with your family and friends during all your summer get-togethers.

Ingredients
- 10 Fresh Mint Leaves
- 4 Lime Wedges
- 2 TBSP Sugar
- 1 Cup Ice Cubes
- 1.5 FL OZ. White Rum
- 1/2 Cup Club Soda
Instructions
1. Place mint leaves and 1 lime wedge in a sturdy glass.
2. Muddle mint & lime to release juices.
To muddle, you use a stick that looks a little like a pestle (from mortar and pestle) and you basically gently mash it all together.
Here is an example:

3. Add 2 more lime wedges with sugar & muddle again. Do not strain mixture.
4. Add ice to same glass & pour rum over ice.
5. Add soda & stir.
6. Garnish with lime wedge.
