I’ve got another quick and easy dinner idea for you all today!
These Beef and Broccoli bowls take about 30 minutes to make, and have great flavour. I do use a prepackaged beef and broccoli sauce mix (to save time), but feel free to use a fresh sauce if you would like.
My husband and I love the crunchy broccoli, and my kids loved the beef and sauce. It’s a great dish to get a load of veggies in one sitting.
Beef And Broccoli Bowls
What you will need:
- 1 lb of stir fry beef (can be found in the beef section)
- 3 cups broccoli florets; cut into bite sized pieces.
- 1 medium onion; sliced thin
- 1 package of Beef & Broccoli stir fry seasoning mix (can be found in the International section)
- 1 cup of water
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- rice or noodles to serve
In a large frying pan, add oil and over medium high heat, brown the beef. Remove from pan and set aside.
Add the veggies to the frying pan and stir fry for 5 – 7 minutes. Mix together the seasoning mix, water and soy sauce together. Add to veggies.
Add the meat back in, and stir to coat everything, Let the meat mixture and sauce simmer for 5 minutes, until it thickens and the veggies are perfectly cooked.
Serve over rice, or noodles and enjoy!

There you have it – another 30-minute meal for those crazy nights!
If you are not a fan of the beef, you could always use chicken – or even tofu. And feel free to add more veggies if you’d like. I think some diced peppers would be an awesome addition to this meal.
